I purchased a Versa 3 days ago only to find out after installing it on my Samsung J7 that Fitbit does not support this phone. I do not have access to any notifications at all. I am wondering what else I may be missing because of this? Trying to decide whether to upgrade my phone or return the Versa. Honestly after reading about all the problems people are having I am leaning towards returning, however welcome your thoughts and advice.

If your Versa isn't receiving notifications, I recommend taking a look at the My Tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android App) post and follow the instructions provided there.
I have a Samsung J7 too and the notifications work properly when I have the Bluetooth and location on, you can try that. It might take a while but at the end it syncs.
