What am I doing wrong? I have the Fitbit downloading everything is showing up with the app its syncing just fine... does it need to stay connected to Bluetooth the whole time because every time I go to check on it they are disconnecting I'm not receiving any notifications, I have the Note 8 any advice would be great I'm getting very frustrated 😞

It needs to stay connected to Bluetooth in order to receive notification. It shouldn’t be disconnecting with your Bluetooth. Maybe try restarting your phone and versa to see if they can stay connected.

As our friend mentioned, your phone's Bluetooth needs to be on in order for you to receive notifications. Now if it is on and you can't receive them, I recommend following the instructions provide in the help article My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone.
