Versa not receiving text notifications

 I updated my Fitbit and with the new version I get notifications for apps but not for texts its the only one not working. Not sure how to fix that.

If you are not receiving text notifications, I recommend taking a look at the My Tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android App) post and follow the instructions provided there.

There are now many threads in the community discussing the issue of not receiving cell phone text notifications on the Versa. I am experiencing the same problem, although I am not certain the problem began following the Versa update as many have stated. The problem did begin recently. Many posts indicate they are using the Verizon Message+ app on an Android phone. For most, the notification issue is limited to text messages. Several people indicated they have tried all of the recommended steps on the link below, as well as other suggested remedies without success. I have tried several of  the suggestions. A few have had success downloading a third party text notification app to the Versa, and some have configured a different messaging app on their Android with mixed success. Some mentioned that Fitbit support stated it is a known problem, and development is working on a fix. Can you confirm that a problem is being diagnosed and is being corrected? I would prefer to wait to have a fix from Fitbit, rather then trying some half baked solution. Please comment. Thanks... Bill

Just to let everyone know, an update to the Android Fitbit application resolved the issue of notifications on Versa for text messages using Verizon's Message+. I am now running Fitbit version 2.75 (2193297) and if I select Messenger+ as my text applications the notifications now work fine.

I just received my versa and am currently running 2.75, my message + is not transmitting text messaged to my Versa.  I have verified al the settings and restarted and reinstalled but no luck.  Any suggestions?
