Versa not synching

Hi there - I seem to be having problems with my versa in that is isn't synching and i'm not getting any of the alerts (text/phone) that I have set up? Help! 🙂

My is doing the same thing it is upsetting

Good day,

 

I have a samsung S9 and this last week I have been unable to sync my versa to my phone.

 

Has anyone come back to you on this matter yet?

Hi, my versa is not  synchronizing since yesterday with my iPhone.

I would appreciate any advice on this as I run off ideas how to solve this problem.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced when trying to sync your Fitbit Versa. If you have another Fitbit Tracker paired to your account please remove it to see if the connection gets re-established. If this doesn't work, please follow our troubleshooting steps to resolve syncing issues

 

Additionally, you can set up your watch as a replacement device by following these steps:

 

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account iconUser-added image
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

If you are still unable to sync, please let me know.

Nice to see that Fitbit has service which spots such posts, I really appreciate this.

 

Yesterday I manged to resolve my sincing problem by first removing Versa from iPhone app, at this moment I had difficult day as when trying to add back Versa to iPhone app was not able to connect with device. But other community member given advice that additional reboot of Versa tracker itself can help.

So I did that as well. Then all went ok. and now I am enjoying the product as before.

I purchased a fitbFi versa, I had a horrible time getting it to sync up with my phone but finally it did after many many attempts.   It does not sync on a regular basis and I have to click sync multiple times to get it to go.  It's like there is something wrong with it.  Now, I got a new phone a motoroMo Z3 and I can't get it to connect whatsoever.  I have never been able to get texts/calls on it (old phone or new) which was a huge reason for dropping $200 on it!  I had an original Charge and should have stuck with it instead of upgrading.  I'm not a happy customer.

Its all fixed now.

I had to delete the fitbit app and reinstall it as well as link my versa to it again. Its all sorted luckily 🙂

Hello,

Yes, all is working fine now. First I had removed tracker from iPhone app.
Then I was surprised that reinstalation was not possible.
But reading advises on blog I have rebooted tracker. Then all went ok.
iPhone app recognized tracker and sincing is working now.
