Versa not syncing again

I own a versa and bought my wife one for her Christmas. I must admit I'm extremely disappointed in it's performance. It goes for days without syncing and for some reason I can't fathom out why. She has a Samsung S7 edge and I've tried all the usual recommendations. Turning of Bluetooth and force stopping the app. Restarting the watch. However it just doesn't sync on a daily basis. I've worked in IT for over 30 years and this isn't rocket science. Think about it watch records then connects via Bluetooth and syncs. Am I missing something here or do the manufacturers not have a clue. Come on get your finger out. I also have a Polar watch and it never missed a beat especially with syncing. I think that Joe public should foot with his feet and say that this is a pile of crap. Get your act together and get a product that actually works. How the hell do I sync this. It'll be going back as useless. What the end user wants is a product that works flawlessly. Any recommendations appreciated
