Versa not syncing steps or workouts

Ever since I recieved my replacement Versa, (the first one died after getting wet, completely  different issue) l, it will not sync with the app as often as it should, nor will it will not sync when forced. Occasionally, the steps will update, but the workouts will not. When I try to force the sync, the step count will revert back to the previous recorded step count, instead of the newly update current count. I have turn off and unpaired the bluetooth. Restarted, deleted & updated the app... several times, to no avail.  I have been a long time Fitbit customer from the Flex, Flex 2, Charge HR, Charge HR2, (I think I'm missing another one) and now on my second Versa. Not only have I purchased these for myself, but also gifted them to friends & family members. I was already fed up with each of my devices having a working shelf life of about 15-20 months, but now having a watch and/or app that is consistently having issues is encouraging my desire to start shopping other brands.  Fix this bug in the app update or whatever is happening, and fix it quick please or you may find you have lost another customer.

@Atcqt welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it stopped syncing your data. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. After this, monitor your watch and see if the syncing issue gets fixed.
