Versa not syncing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My versa is not syncing in the evenings or first thing in the morning.  I have done everything I can think of including resetting, unpairing and pairing again.  Watch and phone have no updates sitting. This means I don't get notifications on my watch during those times.  This is all since last update and is really frustrating.  Please help!!

Hi @SalMcB, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa is not syncing with your phone, therefore, it won't receive notifications either. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved.

I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. Finally, monitor your watch and see if it syncs and receives notifications properly.

Looking forward to your response.

This has been happening to me since I've had the watch (over a year).  I turn on and off the bluetooth. Most days I even have to restart my phone to get my watch to sync. I've done hard resets and nothing has worked to solve this issue. I've called Fitbit too many times to count. I've given up and I'm getting a Garmin. I hope someone at Fitbit can help you.

This is also happening to me only after the last update. I have tried everything on that help page for the past 3 days now and sometimes it works, but only stays synced for a few hrs then stops syncing again. Its such a hassle to do restarts, uninstall the app & all that. The frustrating part for me is that my watch is older than my husband's & his isn't acting up at all.

Lastly, my watch has also been 15-30mins behind every morning since this started. So my alarms are useless until it decides to sync after I force it to.

Mine is older than my husbands too and his is working perfectly. My own is
only 18 months old, it's ridiculous.

Like you, I've tried everything and it stops syncing about 8pm and starts
at some point mid morning. What's the point of that!!

I agree!!! Its so annoying to spend the time to force it to sync before I
go for a run just so it could track it. I hope a patch is developed for
this issue because I don't see the point in using it anymore when it
doesn't sync, I don't get notifications, the time is off, it doesn't log my
sleep properly, AND I cant upload my runs to the app.

Hi,

I have tried every troubleshooting steps I can find, including all those
listed in your message. I have rebooted both my fitbit and phone, even to
the extent of unpairing and repairing, to resetting my fitbit and NOTHING
works.

Of course it doesn't receive notifications when it's not syncing.

I love my Fitbit Versa, but this is so totally frustrating. This has all
happened since the last update - it needs sorting by Fitbit!!! Get a patch
or something to sort it, it's clearly not just me by the number of other
messages I've seen about the same issue.

I look forward to receiving your response but please don't tell me to try
all these steps again, I have tried them several times and it's just not
sorting the problem.
