Versa not tracking distance and pace correctly

Hi, I've been looking through a few chats on here and noticed that a few people are having problems with their versa not tracking exercise correctly and wondered if there had been a conclusion to this by fitbit yet??

I've had my versa for coming up to a year and it was fine then all of a sudden (possibly since last update??) It seems to track my pace slower and also my distance seems to be nearly half a mile behind. I've tried all the resets and everything suggested. I've now changed it to Km instead and when I went for a run tonight it seems to be tracking the opposite way now..slightly fast pace and distance ahead! I've compared it to my sister who uses Garmin so although I know they wont be the same they should at least be similar??

Any new ideas??

Thanks:)

@SaraA86 Welcome to the Fitbit Community.

I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa is not tracking the pace and distance of your runs correctly. Thank you for the troubleshooting steps you've performed before contacting us.

If you are not registering your activity with GPS you can measure your walking and running stride length by following our instructions on the article How do I measure and adjust my stride length?.

Whether you are having difficulties with connected GPS, please make sure that your phone is part of the list of supported devices.

There are different factors that can affect GPS signal. I would recommend visiting the article How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
