Hi there,
In the past week, my Fitbit Versa has become very unreliable for tracking my sleep. It is just flat out missing periods of sleep! Last night it is reporting that I did not sleep (which is totally untrue)!
Was there a change to the Fitbit Firmware of software that could be contributing to this problem? I've tried tightening and loosening the band and this still seems to be problematic.

How did you set your sleep in the settings: normal or sensitive?

Hi Kuzibri. My sleep sensitivity is set to normal.

Try to set it to sensitive and see what happens to your sleep tracking. I have more or less the same problem the last days as you have. Good luck!

From what I've read, that will make things worse. Because any little movement will be tracked as if I were awake and it will show less sleep time.
There's another issue here I believe. As odd as it sounds I believe the versa may be picking up on a fan's vibrations and tracking that ! I'm seeing phantom steps during the hours I'm sleeping and I am close to the fan's position depending on how I sleep.

In the sensitivity mode sometimes it does become worse and sometimes not. I suggested it mainly to check if in this mode your sleep is more accurately monitored, if not or even worse, the sleep monitoring itself is the cause of your problems.
