I wore my versa to bed last night and it didn’t track my sleep. I don’t normally wear it to bed because I charge it every night. What can I do to fix this issue?

@MaddieAsh Was the heart rate recorded last night. Heart rate is needed for sleep monitoring. Just in case reboot your tracker several times by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until fitbit logo appears (for Fitbit Versa Lite - press the back button for 10 seconds). Also, make sure the battery is not critically low (around 10-15%) as this might turn off the sensor and BT connectivity on your tracker. Make sure you're wearing your band tight enough as well.

How would I check if the heart rate was calculated last night

Hello @MaddieAsh have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It's nice to see you too @Marrrmaduke, thanks for all your help.
@MaddieAsh I appreciate you have taken the time to share your experience with us. Please note that if your Versa tracks heart rate at night you will be able to see Sleep Stages the next day when you sync your device.
However, please note that the Fitbit app currently has in-app error notifications that provide an explanation for why you aren't receiving Sleep Stages on any given night. This is meant to provide insight into what might be occurring to cause this. The error messages are the following:
When you tap on Learn more, you will be able to get more information about why your tracker didn't record sleep stages. Additionally, I'd like to suggest the following:
Thanks for your patience and understanding, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.

@MaddieAsh Open your Fitbit mobile app, tap on the Heartrate tile, then tap on the recording from that day to see the detailed, zoomed-in chart. Please take a screenshot of it if possible and post here. Thx!

The main reason I use a fitbit is to monitor my sleep as it is generally so poor and I am trying various things to improve it. So I'm a bit perturbed to read in your reply that you won't see sleep stages if you are waking up multiple times throughout the night. My versa did not register my sleep last night but it usually does, even though I never have 3 hours continuous sleep. I have tried resetting my versa and restarting my phone but there is still no record of last night's sleep .

@MaddieAsh As you can see from the attached chart, your sleep has not been recorded at night. That's the reason you cannot see the sleep stages. Please do what I advised in my previous post. 🙂
