My Versa has never tracked well. Very intermittent. I see a lot of posts about syncing, but that seems okay it's just not tracking steps or floors even on the watch. I went back to the basic face so I don't have all the info on the face anymore. Ugh. But I read it tracks better using the basic face. So far that's not helping. When it stops tracking, I restart and maybe it will start tracking again. Maybe not. I just keep restarting and walking floors to test it until it starts. I end up not getting about 1/3 of my floors tracked. When it stops, it never just starts again. it's not slow or behind, it just stops tracking. It stops tracking steps occasionally and will usually catch up, but it also just misses a bunch of steps when it catches up, it's not accurate. Anyone else having this problem?

Throwing the fitbit versa along with the $200 in the trash can seems to be the accepted solution! Now to find a new fitness tracker that actually works. CANNOT BE A FITBIT. Any suggestions?

@SunsetRunner Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it stopped tracking your stats. By the way, thank you for trying the restart process before contacting our forums.
I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. After this, monitor your tracker and see if it tracks your stats again. Just make sure to sync your Versa before in order to avoid losing current data.

Best AnswerMy fitbit stops tracking intermittently. I call it moody because sometimes it does work. I'd say about 50/50. Just stops tracking floors and after an hour walk, it will track a half dozen steps....maybe, if it's in the mood. I don't see others complaining about this. And mine is new. I feel like I could count my own steps better so not sure what the point of this junk is anymore.
Best AnswerNo. It's still not counting floors. It is counting some steps, but still not consistent.

I’m packing this up and exchanging for an apple watch
totally Over this as it’s been a known problem and there’s no fix
