Versa not tracking swimming laps

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have swam 4 times with my versa. Every time I swim 40 lengths and it has tracked this. Today however it has logged 7 laps! Has anyone any idea how to edit the exercise to adjust the swimming laps? Please note before replying I make sure I turn at the end of each lap so it logs each one but this time it just didn’t!

Try restarting your Versa several times and see how it goes next swim.

Restart your tracker

It is probably easiest to delete todays swim and manually add a swim of the correct duration and laps.

thank you for your reply but my question hasn't really been answered? Is there no way that I can adjust the amount of swimming lengths?

With the Flex 2 if you can go in to advanced settings and add the pool length that way, but don't think that's an option on the Versa and anyway as you are paying a lot more money it should be detecting laps automatically and recording them accurately.

And with the greatest of respect, if you are being told to manually add a swim what is the point having a swim tracker? Fitbit should really be addressing the issue of inaccurate swim data and not keep telling us all to re-set/re-start etc. I've complained many times about this issue and not had an adequate reply so have taken it further to a third party.

I have finally got Fitbit to answer the question regarding whether you can manually change the swim lengths and after 2 emails have had confirmation that you can’t. They have also asked me to reset my tracker! It’s worth noting that I went for a walk this afternoon and the walk exercise feature just stopped working and kicked me out! So I’ve reset the tracker and will see what it does over the next few days. I agree it’s hardly worth having the swim app if you have to manually log the workout especially as I brought the most expensive version of the Versa.
