Versa not turning on

My versa's battery died the other day after the heart rate monitor hadn't been working for approximately 24 hours. I've been trying to charge it but it doesn't respond. Before this, I had issues with paring and syncing to my phone. I tried to charge it and push the left and right bottom buttons at the same time to restart and that's not working. 

 

Please advise.
