Versa not turning on

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

After the last firmware upgrade the batteries on my versa starte draining fast. I had to charge it every day. Today it just went black and it won't charge. The app says the battery is at medium.  I've pressed the left and bottom right buttons and the screen got some pink/grey color. And the fitbit got really hot. Not sure what is up with it.

I've done the back button front bottom button. Screen goes pink/ greyish. Then after a while fitbit vibrates but screen goes black. There's one blinking green light on the back. The fitbit also gets very hot. This black screen thing started 12 hours after i used it in water for the first time ever.  I've had it for a little over a year if i remember correctly. Think it's related? Or it's a battery issue. I've had to charge it day since the update.

Thanks for your reply @Sus007.

Your effort troubleshooting your device with me is really appreciated, thanks for the details that were shared in your post. Since you're still experiencing difficulties, please try the following steps to perform a factory reset and let me know if the issue persists:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. When the device successfully resets, please use the normal out of the box process of updating the firmware. You can check: How do I update my Fitbit device? for more details.

Take in consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

I'll be here if further assistance is needed.
