Versa not unlocking - removed from iOS phone app

Hello!

I've been struggling with this for the last week, and my Versa is only 4-5 months old...


I've tried a factory reset on the fitbit for the last 2 hours, over and over again, When it does a "hard vibrate" it just turns back on/remains the same as before - it just goes back to "unlock with phone" but I can't do that as i removed the app from my phone completely and it removed the device from the app, and it won't let me set up as a new device, as I still need to "unlock with phone". Aannnnd I can't do anything on the internet page as my device is no longer linked. 

I'm about to return it this afternoon because I am SO very over it not working. 
Anyone have any ideas before I throw a sh*t-fit?
