Hi all,
Adding this to the waterproof problem with the Versa. I always take the watch off for a shower and rarely get it wet. Today I decided to wear it to the swimming pool to try out the cool lap swim function. It worked pretty well until I got out of the water - the screen went blank. I thought it went out of battery, until I noticed the water condensation in the sensor area. Not good - not charging, not turning on. I guess they have a 2-year warranty for a reason. The watch was purchased in June 2018. Just FYI if that happens to you the best thing fitbit can offer is 35% discount on last generation versa. So beware if yours is over 2 years old and you want to get that watch wet.

Hi, I’m having the same issue. What happened after? Did you get it replaced?
I don’t think it should be labeled as waterproof or water resistant when it clearly is not.

Unfortunately I have decided to switch from fitbit. the discount is just not worth it for me. It's a shame because I have been using that for > 2 years and it has all my data. I now have a Samsung Galaxy Active 2, which I found very much the same price as a new fitbit. and I have tested it in the swimming pool for > 10 times.
