Versa notifications not showing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I currently own a Xiaomi Mi 8 and a 1st gen Versa smartwatch. For some reason, the only notifications I am getting in my watch are phone calls... No WhatsApp, messages, mails, calendar, anything else. I already checked and notifications are all turned on on the fitbit app. Other than that, device working fine (tracking, pay, etc)

Do any of you have any ideas of how to solve this?

@paucz It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!

Let me help you with your Versa notifications. Your phone doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team. You can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Let me know how it goes.

I contacted fitbit about this exact issue. I have a Moto g6. Android. Started after the last versa update. After being told to redo all the usual troubleshooting (that I had tried multiple times already) i was told that "upon checking here we've confirmed that your notifications are set to false" - I ended up sending photos of my versa to show they were not set to off! Later I was told that "we're aware of it and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible" If not fixed soon will pursue issue as 'false advertising' issue.
