Versa notifications stopped working

I was receiving notifications (email, WhatsApp) on my Versa for the first couple of days but it has stopped working for no apparent reason. I have tried all the usual things like restarting the phone and device and changing the settings but nothing seems to work and I don't know what to try next. Please can you help?

What was the key to get it working again? My notifications are still very spotty.

And I’ve got my mums watch working again for notifications.  What I did was pushed and hold the button on the left side of the watch (the one that will power your watch on, there’s only 1 button on that side) it will vibrate, then swipe left it will have 2 options one being SCREEN WAKE  the other being NOTIFICATIONS.  Make sure it says notifications on. If it says off this will be why you are not getting notifications. Hope this works and help solve some of the issues. Good Luck!

Notifications worked in the afternoon but by evening had stopped. I did try the troubleshooting tips. This morning I uninstalled then reinstalled the app on my phone and they appear to be working again (at least the test call came through).

That worked. Mine was off and that may have happened when I was changing out the band.

Awesome information. Mine said notifications off. Turned them on and waiting for a text or email now to see if that fixed it.

I did get a text but the email hasn't worked yet. Still hoping. Now if I get phone calls, I will be a happy Fitbit owner again. 🙂

Yes if I’m honest I don’t know why I don’t get regular notifications for emails. I think there ar3 quite a few with the same error being specifically email notifications

Solution for even after restarting the phone,Notifications are not activating.

Received the Versa as gift, but sadly the notification for incoming or missed calls and for text messege I received no notification at all. I had follow all type instruction from different reply in the fibit community and outside the community and the problem still persist. So this item will be return tomorrow after wanting this watch since it first came out. A very unhappy unsatify customer.

Have you tried swiping left 3x on the clock face - hitting tips and making sure Notifications were on and not OFF?  When I couldn’t figure out what was going on with my notifications- just going to tips led me to the issue( this must of happened when I was changing my band)

Hi Freddie here.. bought one for fiance .Christmas .. Same problem notifications and receive calls ..works then stops (Android phone)  I have reset this I don't know how many times that's very slow  then kicks in .. follow on line instructions  ..did it yesterday worked for about 12 hrs then quits looks like I am not the only one ..glad for community hopefully a fix ..?

This watch so glitchy! Terribly frustrating. Notifications for text messages worked fine until a couple of days ago. Yes, everything is updated. Yes, notifications are on. Yes I’ve restarted both phone and watch. Yes I’ve turned Bluetooth off and on again.

 

Are there any actual fixes for this problem?

 

Also, the watch has NEVER alerted to emails even though I have the options selected for this.

Looks like notifications works like a wonder with one plus phones.
