My Versa stopped working once I switched to WiFi while on vacation, now a black screen even after charging. Tried to reset, remove device and reinstall. App can’t find my device.

@Mauimimi By reset do you mean 3-button factory reset or regular reboot (press and hold the left and bottom right buttons util Fitbit logo appears)? By removing device, do you mean removing from the paired devices list in your phone Bluetooth settings or from Fitbit mobile app, or both? Are the sensor lights blinking?

Thank you for responding.
I pressed the bottom left & right buttons and still a black screen.
I unpaired the versa device with app and tried to repair and it said could not find. This is my 4th Fitbit device and this option has usually worked in the past with my charge HR and Alta but not this time. I purchased this device in Dec 18.
Thanks!

@Mauimimi If you removed it from the app (from your Fitbit account), you also need to remove it from Paired Devices list in your phone's bluetooth settings, then reboot both phone and Versa (press and hold the left and bottom right buttons until fitbit logo appears) and add Versa as a new device. You can try that, but unfortunately I believe at this point, it's either performing a 3-button factory reset or contacting Customer Support. Try the above first, if this does not work, try this:

  1. Press and hold all 3 buttons until Fitbit logo flashes (this may take up to 3-6 minutes)
  2. Release the bottom right button
  3. Wait until you feel strong vibration and release the other buttons.

You may need to attempt the reset a few times to find the optimal times. Trying holding the buttons longer, as long as it's needed for the vibration to appear.
