Versa only working on cradle

So I recently got the Fitbit Versa for Mother's day. And I've been having problems with it charging ... meaning that it would say its 100% charged and when I take it off the charger I get no reaction out of it. I've tired the soft reset and nothing. This has been an on going problem all week. I decided to return the watch back to target. I really would like another watch ... but I need to know if there was something I did wrong. So it doesn't happen again.

Make sure you are charging it correctly

See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery
