Versa or Charge 3?

Have a Charge 2 and I am considering upgrading. Do you recommend the Versa or Charge 3? Can’t decide.

Both equally good products, Jen.  I would recommend the Versa but if size is a problem, Charge 3 would have to be considered.

Hi, it depends also on what you're looking for, a Smartwatch (Versa) or a Tracker (Charge 3). Good luck in deciding. Personally, I have a Versa.

The Versa has the ability to add user written apps and clock faces.

The Versa also has color, the Charge 2's display is grey scale with limited watch faces.

I say go Versa. I have one and it does a little of everything! It tracks, is a smart watch, and has additional apps. You can even change the watch face!

Yes, thanks I have already compared the two. I wanted personal opinions on the products. Saw some complaints posted, so wanted to see if I would receive the same information, which I have not. So this is helpful for me. 😁

Honestly, there are MASSIVE amounts of negative comments about both the Versa AND Charge 3. Do the research. Stick with the Charge 2. I just recently returned my Fitbit Versa after I was completely fed up with the problems. The Charge 2 is the most accurate Fitbit I have ever owned.

Hi, although I understand your reaction very well, are you aware of the fact that in this Community only users with Versa/Charge 3 problems post messages and not the ones with no problems at all with either off these devices. Everything in this respect is relative. I'm convinced that there are also a lot of very satisfied users of these devices, only they do not post here, bear that I mind please.

Hi, I am also aware that 5 of my friends (and me, which makes 6) all purchased the Fitbit Versa, and all returned the Fitbit Versa because of numerous problems. 

I am convinced that people who think their Versa functions correctly do not as closely log and analyze the data as some of us do. 

While I appreciate your optimism, I can not have any toward the Versa, as I had hoped and hoped that the Versa would function just as good (if not better) than the Charge 2. It did not. The Versa that I, and my 5 friends received was a nightmare.

I need something waterproof otherwise I would stick with the Charge 2. I have the post in both Versa and Charge 3 forums as I wanted honest feedback form both products. I have done a lot of research and I wanted honest opinions from  both product owners. Thanks again.

its really the luck of the draw.. or you get a good versa or you get a bad versa.
when buying a Versa. Be sure you know the return policies. 
To be honest.. 
My first versa was returned after 24 hours.. It would not last more then 4 hours on batteries.
My second versa.. although there are sleep problems which are getting better and some Connectivity to GPS problems. It is mostly a good watch.
I swam with it everyday for 4 months in the summer.
I went to holiday and did salt water and pool.. 
Not a problem. The battery last 4 days plus, i think i am lucky as my watch face i dont think uses much battery.

Other then being very fragile... get a screen protector before you wear it, it is not a bad watch for the price.
