Versa out of stock

Hi, 

 I have been an avid fitbit user for the past four years. I loved my fitbit alta hr, but Im ready to upgrade. I want to order the silver one, however it is out of stock everywhere. I am debating if I should order for fitbit directly or amazon. If so, the website states it will ship within 2-3 weeks. Does anyone know how this is works? Plus, if amazon says it is out of stock does someone know when it will be restocked?

If the website says it will ship in 2 to 3 weeks then that is the current estimate, and it will probably happen then. There is never a garantee though. 

If Amazon isnt willing to give a ship date then who knows ifbthey have one or not? No one here I woukd think.

There is no way to know which will be faster, though personally I'd go with Fitbit, but I dont know if that is reality or not as I have always ordered my fitbits throught Fitbit.

Hi LaceyJ. I actually did order the gray ones from Amazon knowing it was out of stock. I think I had it on order for maybe a week or more and I cancelled the order and I ordered the black one which I received yesterday. And I love it. I know my response doesn't exactly address your question because nobody really knows anyways but if you wanted to go with the black I don't think you'll be sorry with that color choice.

I ordered from Amazon.co.uk on 25 April and althought the status of the product is "on stock" - until now still "on stock... the estimated arriving at my home is 2 May-9 May. The product still didnt shipped!! They just lock the money on the bank. So strange things. It's like the company don't want to mass sell or they have serious problems about it. Or the status on Amazon is fake. I dont know what to do I just need a functional fitness tracker to do my work. I wanted to buy fitness tracker since begining of March, and I was waiting for the Versa release day, but seems like there are problems with its release. I will wait a few days more if its not shipped i will cancel the order and go to Garmin vivoactive 3 or Samsung gear sport. If there are problems with the release of the product and fitbit is doing more quality control is better to be informed about that. Maybe this is happening for good.

Order from amazon. The peach edition is available in 1-2 days and the special edition one with the peach color is supposed to be in a few days. Looks like stock is being replenished finally.

It looks as though the silver edition will ship on May 9th of next week. So you are right looks like they are replenishing their stock.
