Versa over counting steps and miles

Is anyone having an issue with the watch or app adding steps and distance when you’re not moving?  It records me at a faster pace when I’m not moving and my time for a mile can vary by minutes faster or slower, but I know I’m walking at relatively the same speed.

Hi @AnitaSJ, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it over counts steps and miles.

 

I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via phone. Please contact them with the reference number they provided in case the issue persists and they'll be happy to follow up and assist you accordingly..
