How do you backup the relevant data saved on the watch by a clock face or app?

 

It is wiped if the Firmware is updated and in many other cases.

 

Is it possible for the Fitbit Mobile app to get a copy and restore it?

How could one implement a backup solution?

 

Can a separate phone app talk to the watch and copy the files in both directions?
