Versa registering steps but app deletes when synced

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My app says I have 105 steps. It has said that since 7:20 am.  The versa watch had steps at 560, but reset to 105 when it synced at 9 am.  I went for a walk at lunch and it registered 2,221.  I returned from lunch and it synced - BACK TO 105 STEPS!  I just purchased the watch this week - worked perfectly until this morning.  Sleep tracker worked last night, the stairs and exercise are correct.

I've tried all the suggested fixes - re-start, deleted the app and re-installed; turned off the phone, turned off the versa, changed the watch face - watched youtube, read the forums....just frustrated.

Any suggestions?

Hi, as I see it your Versa is not the problem, but the problem is the Fitbit app. Try the following

1. Logout of your Fitbit account.

2. Before doing the following steps do not remove or unpair your Versa form the Fitbit app.

3. Deinstall the Fitbit app

4. Restart you phone and enable BT again.

5. Reinstall the Fitbit app (which als means that you get the latest version!)

6. Login to your Fitbit account and sync your Versa, after a walk of arounf 500 steps, with your Fitbit app and see if the problem is solved.

Followed your instructions to the letter.  Walked around the floor until I had 324 steps registered on the versa - back to my desk and synced the app.  Back to 105 steps ☹️

The version of the versa is 33.1.30.  It shows connected and it is fully charged.

Another suggestion?  Thanks for the assistance
