I had my Versa replaced in April, which I was very greatful for, as I have been a loyal Fitbit user for years and attempted to get everyone onboard. The replacement was due to a faulty battery in my first Versa (not charging, not syncing) and Fitbit was amazing with the replacement process.
Everything went well when I received the Versa replacement and I continued happily using the basic of tools for the watch. One night last week I showered with it on for the first time and since then the battery begin draining instantly.
I charged it, cleaned it, followed all the troubleshooting steps, synced after every charge (you can check the logs on my account) and nothing seems to be working. I even changed charging plugs, etc.
I am very sad about this as I was really wanting to stay with Fitbit, however I just keep having issues after issues with the Versa (as much as I prefer what the Versa offers & design), it only leaves me with disappointment and a watch I can not use to its full potential or even half of its potential.
Please help I am desperate and about to move to Samsung, which I really don't want to do.

Hi @Leigh-TG, it's nice to see you again in our Community Forums!
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your experience. Thank you for being a Fitbit customer. I totally understand how you are feeling about the battery issue you're having with your replacement device and the overall experience with the Fitbit Versa. I appreciate your troubleshooting efforts: Can I improve my Fitbit device's battery life?
Please confirm if you're using a third party clock face? I recommend switching to a Fitbit clock face and restarting the watch by following these steps: How do I restart my Fitbit device? After that please fully charge your device and use it like normal until it drains completely.
Let me know how it goes!

Hi Liliya,
Thank you for your response.
I have never used a 3rd party clock face, only Fitbit clock face (Photograph). I do not even have any notifications going to the phone and have been manually syncing the watch, which I feel is going backwards as to what this watch should be doing if it is a smart fitness watch. If I am lucky the battery last just under 24hours, and sometimes not even 12hours in the last week alone.
Please advise

Hi there, I'm having a similar issue with my Fitbit Versa. I've had mine for almost exactly a year, and the battery life has drastically dropped in the past few months. I can't make it past about 12 hours without the battery dying. I don't use many special features, and I have kept all settings as they were when I first got the Fitbit.
I'd really like to continue using this product, but the battery life is going to force me to find another option unless there is a solution.
Thank you!

Same here! I've had mine just over a year and I have the same issues as you. I use the FitBit clock face, no third party ones and I don't really use any apps with it. I'm really disappointed because I really loved my watch. I was going to see about buying a replacement battery if that's possible? I wish I had known it was going to die back during the holidays when the watches were on sale!
I can't even do a restart like they keep telling me to do. It's totally dead... will not charge, will not turn on, will not do anything.

this must be a common problem, this is my second one in 6 months doing the same thing, I do not get wet other than from walking and I clean as instructed but it just stopped, no warning and cannot charge. I just sent back yesterday for them to see if the watch is defective, very frustrating.
