My versa is linked to my iphone (IOS). Whenever i scroll down to view my notifications on it, it restarts alone and cant even clear the notifications. Any suggestion.

Hello @Ekouba, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. At this moment, I would like to suggest you to try the following steps:

  1. Restart your Versa by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  2. Sync your device and wait for Notifications to arrive

If your Versa restarts again when checking Notifications, please let us know so we can check this further.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, give these steps a try and let us know in case you need anything else.

Hello,

i tried everything i found in the forum, it’s still crashing when i view my notifications. The only remaining proposed solution is to reset it to factory settings. I am avoiding to do this since i dont want to lose all the stats on it.

Thank you

Hello @Ekouba! thanks for getting back to us, I'm sorry to hear that the troubleshooting provided didn't work, I appreciate you trying it dough. I also apologize for the delay in the response. Have you tried refreshing the notifications? If this doesn't work you can also try un-pairing the Versa and setting it up again as a new device, but don't forget to sync the Fitbit before un-pairing it so you won't loose your information, and you can do the same before doing the factory reset so you won't loose any data, although I will recommend doing the other steps before. Please let me know how it goes! Robot Happy

Welcome to the Fitbit Community forums @Yujung, too bad that you have the same issue, thanks for trying all the possible solutions that you found on the forums. Please also try the steps I suggested before. About the steps count, please check the following article: How accurate are Fitbit devices? and restart your tracker.

Hope this helps, I will be around! Woman Happy

I am having the same issues and have tried all of the listed suggestions. I have only had this for two weeks so this is incredibly disappointing. I had no issues with my blaze that’s had for almost 2 years.

@AlexandraFitbit @I am having the same issues where it just shuts down and restarts on its own or when I check notifications. I’ve tried all the listed suggestions and nothing is fixing the issue. I’ve only had this for 2 weeks so this is really disappointing. Any suggestions? I had the Blaze for almost 2 years with no issues at all.

Hey,

I got to the point where I became so irritated and just synched all my data to the iphone app and reset the Versa to a factory setting. That solved the notification issue lol, although it still miss counts my steps.

It’s a hassle but try and reset the device to a factory setting.

@AlexandraFitbit, I am also having the same issue where my Fitbit Versa reboots when I swipe down from the top to view notifications. I was pretty disappointed today when it started happening again, as I have already been through troubleshooting with Fitbit Support (reboot device, factory reset, etc.) and was sent a replacement device. At this point I have to conclude that it is some type of bug. It would be nice to know if this is being considered a known issue by the Fitibit team and if anything is being done to resolve the bug. (A quick search of the community forum shows a lot of results about Fitbit Versa's randomly rebooting.)
