This is a well known issue and is being tracked in other threads. Search around for this topic and/or contact Fitbit support. They are surely going to replace it with a new one that works much better. They did for me. Good luck.

@Bellaabbie @hedonistacal Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that your Versa's battery is draining quickly. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. Also use a Fitbit clock face on your Versa if you are using a third party one. If the issue persist then you can contact our Support team like @H3rocketman suggested. @Odyssey13 @H3rocketman thank you for your help here.
Let me know how it goes!

I have been online and spoke to someone.
Have been told to charge for 2hrs/remove the heart rate/change the clock face/ remove anything that might be draining the battery and re sync 5 to 6 times a day and see what happens.
I find this so stupid as to why should I have to remove the heart rate ( this is what I need my fitbit for)
Why do I have to change the clock face when the one I had was there for me to choose.
Why to re sync 5-6 times a day
If these functions are the problem then why has it been okay since I have had and only started losing charge for the past 3 weeks.
My fitbit is still not holding charge, so what happens now
I am not impressed as they are not cheap to buy and mine was a gift from my Daughter.

I got told exactly the same thing.
Followed their instructions and I'm at 14% charge after being at full charge at 10 pm when I went to bed.
I won't have enough charge to make it through a work out at the gym ... part of the point of having the thing ack #frustrated
It had been working so well 😞

Hi, mine after after a few months using the same clock face nothing changed, it needs to be charged once a day. How sad, it appears it’s a poor design frown? How did you contact via phone? I was told to buy a Harmon a or an Apple Watch. I said no, I had faith in Fitbit. Now I’m afraid to invest in one again. Help
