My versa has stopped responding.... the screen is on but black and the app cannot discover the watch. I have tried to restart the watch several times with nothing more than the watch flashing on and off.

the heart rate monitor is also not showing any lights.

many suggestion?

@Sassy_Sarah, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the screen went black and won't connect with your phone. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

Please try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the screen turns on properly and your phone's app recognizes your watch.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

No such luck. The phone doesn’t even recognize the device. I tried changing the clock face and restarting (I believe- since the watch never turns on) the screen stays black and nothing else appears. 😞

I have brought fitbit versa in the month of October 2018 and in June 2019 it was replace for having battery issue. Now the new fitbit also stopped working with in 5 months and there is not replacement because it is out of warranty and the warranty is being counted from october 2018. But for this new hardware the warranty should be from June 2019. please suggest how to go legally on this. This is cheating, they can even repair this. i have got this for 18000 and it now completely wasted

@GautamNadella I'm sorry for the late response. I'm also sorry to hear that your recent Fitbit Versa stopped working and it's no longer under the warranty period. I totally understand how you feel about this and we appreciate your feedback.

The warranty period is good for 365 days starting from the date of first setup of the original device. Please check out this page for more information about the warranty policies.

I'll be around if any question arises.
