Versa's display won't swipe

My Fitbit versa 2 watch will not swipe or change from homescreen -  It is like it is frozen.  We have restarted it several times, updated it, make sure it was synced, etc.  It will work for approx 12 hrs after restarted and then it freezes again.  When it freezes it doesnt me log exercise or receive notifications - please advise me on how to fix this.  Also it was bought in later November 2019 but not unboxed or used until December 25th 2019!

Hi @Mak13, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

 

Regarding the issues that your Versa 2 has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.
  • After this, set up your watch from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed.
