My versa seems to go into a mode where the display is really too dull to see. Then after a while it comes bright again ?

Hi there @Trish19, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I'll be glad to answering your inquiry about your Versa's screen brightness.
While reading your post I was wondering if you have the screen settings set to "Auto"? If so, that would explain why the screen brightness randomly changes during the day. Dim the screen or turn on auto brightness on your watch by going into the Settings app, find the brightness setting, and tap to change it. 😉
Hope this answers your inquiry, let me know if you need further assistance.

I have this same issue, however, my Versa Lite I have set to "Dim," not "Auto," and immediately after verifying that setting or dragging up the progress tab it'll dim then immediately change brightness. The brightness setting shows it's still dim but the backlight clearly isn't. I have reset my versa lite multiple times with no success in resolving the issue. Both my device and app are up to date.

Hello @Stefanie_C, it's nice to see you around the Community Forums. Thanks for already troubleshooting your Versa Lite prior to posting here.
It seems that you've set your Versa Lite into Sleep Mode. When the sleep mode setting is on:
To turn off Sleep Mode, please swipe right from the clock face on your watch to access the quick settings. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?
If the issue persists, would you mind sending me a photo showing the settings you cannot read? To do so, please:
Give this a go and let me know if your watch's screen brightness goes back to normal.

Uhm no, it's not in sleep mode. I've never put my Versa lite in sleep mode because I need to be able to wake up if anyone calls me in the middle of the night. The issue isn't that I can't read settings 😕 the issue is that I set my Versa lite brightness setting to "Dim" and then it stays dim for 2 seconds then gets super bright. Did you not read my issue before just jumping to a solution?
