Versa's screen went blank

Help Fitbit! There are two Versa’s in my house and both have issues. One has had a myriad of issues from day one. Most recently that one's screen became too sensitive to use. Now it’s screen is blank. Watch is still recording data and buzzing.  Just no screen. We have tried all trouble shooting techniques and suggestions. Actually we are pretty good at using those techniques considering how many issues these watches have had. Usually it’s connectivity issues. Fitbit this is all very disappointing.  Especially considering how expensive the watches are. They should last longer than a year. I have been a long time Fitbit user but it’s feeling like it might be time to move on. Let me know if there are some more magic tricks I can try to fix this. I’m positive it’s not just my watch. The forums are filled with similar issues.

Hi @JBeee, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community.

I'm sorry to hear about the screen issues that your Versa watches have experienced. I totally understand how you feel about this. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your devices, please follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup. Then set up your watches from scratch.
  5. Finally, monitor your watches and see if the issues get fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
