I got my Versa in January and today, 4/25, noticed spiderline cracks from top right corner. I do not think I hit anything to have created the problem. I've also come across other user posts from people who like me, wonder how this happened and if the Versa charging docking station played a role. I have noticed it is a tight fit and at times I've come back to notice the dock flipped itself over during a charge and the Versa is now face down on the surface where I placed it.
I've also seen read the numerous posts from last year regarding Charge 2 screens developing cracks down the middle without provocation. I wonder if Versa's are developing the same.
My Fitbit rep today wasn't very sympathetic, in my opinion. She said my 3 1/2 month old device cracked as part of "normal wear" and the best option available is a 25% discount on a new one. This is probably my fourth Fitbit product and I've never sought a replacement. So I'm disappointed. Has anyone else figured out a remedy for repair? For example, I wonder if it is a standard size and a jeweler could replace it like a crystal on a watch.
Someone else's post alluded to a repair by Fitbit. My representative today didn't offer that as an option. Does anyone have experiences regarding repair of a Versa screen, by Fitbit or anyone else? TIA

Just for the benefit of others in the community: Fitbit considered my appeal regarding the cracked screen and offered no resolution beyond the offer of a 25% discount toward the purchase of another Versa. A replacement screen is not an option because they have no “repair center” at Fitbit, I was told. Seems to me Fitbit wasn’t really prepared to get into the upper end of the fitness tracker market.

I am on the computer tonite trying to decide between a Versa or Fossil Venture for a mothers day gift. I had one of the charge 2's that cracked, so before I buy the Versa I checked for cracked screen stories. So very disappointed to see the Versa's are know getting a bad reputation. Doesn't fitbit care? I guess i will buy the Fossil even though they cost more....
