Versa screen going blank

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Almost have had my 2nd Versa for a year, 1st one the screen broke, and the screen is acting funny.  I've tried resetting as others have said, pushed all the side buttons, left on charger overnight, and numerous other things.  Now I can't get it to come on at all.  I've come to realize how much I rely on this device and can't believe it's only been a year and I'm having trouble with it.  Anyone else have a fix?  I really can't fork out another $200+ for a new one.

Hi @AFoust, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since the screen went black and it won't turn on. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I'd like to know if your Versa vibrates when you put it on the charger. In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains the restart process but you can skip it and proceed with the rest. Finally, charge your watch for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Thanks for getting back with me.
When I went to put my Versa on the charger it show me it had 0% power and I was hopeful that charging would help.  It did not vibrate when I put it on the charger.  I left it on the charger for 3 hours.  While it was charging the screen was dimly lit for a little while but did not display anything.  After 3 hours, I tried turning it on and nothing happened.  I followed the directions for restarting it and still nothing happened.  I put it back on the charger (still did not vibrate) and left it there overnight.  I tried once again to turn it on and restart it and still nothing happened.  A few weeks ago when I tried all this the Fitbit logo would come up and then the screen would go blank and not display anything else.  Now I can't even get that to come up.
I do have 2 different charges and have tried this with both of them.  I know the chargers work because I have another Versa that the screen is cracked that will charge on both of these.
Please let me know what I can do.

My Versa is doing the exact same thing. Blank screen and won’t turn on.  I love my Versa so I’m pretty sad, mad and disappointed.
