Recetnly (the last 3 days), my trusty Versa has been acting up. During a long swim session, it stopped recording my laps and the exercise app could not be restarted/re-opened. It did however continue all other functions (steps, heart rate etc, and did upload them to my laptop), but they could not be viewed on my watch.
After reading other posts I did a restart (holding left button & bottom right until it restarted). That was sufficient for about 3 minutes. The system now shows a dim screen (even when charged to 100%. The restart function gets me a bright 'diamond', but there is a blue line/edge around the screen, and within a few seconds the screen goes to a dull/dim one. I can still select the exercise of my choice, but the screen is dim and difficult to read.

Hi there @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa and for trying to troubleshooting the previous issue before reaching out.
It seems like the Sleep Mode has been enabled by mistake. When you turn on the sleep mode setting:
Try checking this setting and turn it off if necessary. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?
Let me know how it goes.
