Versa screen issue

Since the most recent update my Fitbit Versa screen will not dim. The clock face will disappear but the screen stays backlit. This reduces my battery life to less than 8 hours before recharging. I have tried some troubleshooting by restarting the watch, changing clock faces, and adjusting settings. Nothing has worked.

Ih read that some watches have bricked if you try a factory reset since the update so I've been delaying that option.

Has anyone had this problem or have any ideas to solve this issue?

I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via phone. I'm so glad to hear that a solution was provided and you are back on track with a replacement unit.
