Versa screen not responding to touch

For the past 2 days my screen has no been responding. My buttons work fine. I reset it. Let it completely run out of battery then charged it & nothing. I reached out to customer support & they told me to reboot it. I did it & now I can’t get passed setting it up, & still it won’t respond to me tapping or swiping. They gave me a 25% discount for me to get a new one since my warranty is expired. Which I feel like it’s bull**ahem** cause it’s not something I did that cause the screen to not work. I don’t think I’ll be purchasing another Fitbit

@SunsetRunner, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa screen became unresponsive. I'm also sorry to hear that it's no longer under warranty. The warranty period is good for 365 days, starting from the date of first setup.

I have been having the same problem, along with the fact that my Sleep cycle isn't really working correctly. If I'm not constantly moving it thinks I'm asleep. Geez you can't sit still and meditate without it thinking you're sleeping? And I didn't know that the warranty runs out in 365 days from setup. That means mine is out of warranty too, because my Versa is more than a year old. I agree that this is not the best product coverage and I will not spend more money for a product that only works for a year, when there are other trackers out there that work the same, have longer battery life and cost much, much less. I used to have a PEBBLE and loved it, was really upset when FitBit bought it and I was forced to buy a more expensive watch. I am now looking into buying a new tracker that won't cost me an arm and a leg and still gives me what I want.

My screen also isn’t responding after defaulting the clock face, rebooting, shutting down, and removing my screen protector. I just purchased mine in December 2019.

I’m having the same problem, except with mine it started as the tracking exercise screen would freeze and now the touch screen isn’t working at all. I just purchased mine in February 2020.
