Versa screen not responding

Hi,

I bought a Fitbit versa in Feb 2019. Wore it almost daily for 2 months then lost interest. Just picked it back up and got motivated again but after using for less than one week, versa no longer responding. I noticed lines passing through clock face, then it went black. I've tried resetting multiple times, charged overnight, and removing clock face but it is not recognized by my phone either. I can see a faint back "light" when pressing buttons, but no logo or other signs of life on watch or app on phone.

Please help. Very frustrated since I've barely used it. Was interested in buying some as gifts for my children, but in reading the forums, seems as though the Fitbit product is not well supported or high quality.

Hi @amyblais01 , it's my assumption that, after a long tome no making use of your Versa, the battery is completely drained and is nearly dead. Therefore, since it's less than one year old, I would advice you to call Customer Support and ask for a battery test. Probably this will show that your battery is almost dead. Regards kuzibri

It was at 60% when it started acting funny. And as I mentioned, I can see a
change in background light when attempting to restart it as well as the
green light on the back is active so I don't think it's a battery issue

@amyblais01 welcome to our Fitbit Community. By the way, I'm sorry for the late response. However, I appreciate the time spent trying the recommended troubleshooting steps in order to bring your Versa's screen back to life.

Since the issue persists, I'll send your case to our Support team so they can investigate further and provide a solution. You will receive an email from them soon.

Thank you for your help @SunsetRunner.

I'll be around if any question arises.
