Versa screen not turning on

I'm having similar issues after the update with my screen going black and not turning on. But my fitbit is not dead, battery is not draining. It is still tracking everything,  I can see that on my phone.  The green lights in back are on tracking heart rate. I have tried switching the display face, but that states it can't connect yo fitbit. I have tried reboot but the screen glows and then there's vertical lines and then goes black. Please help, my fitbit is barely 18 months old. Was hoping this would last me till Christmas.

Mine was doing like the poltergeist screen of greyish white with a line scrolling down the screen, then the screen would turn completely green before going black. My first Versa 2 did the same thing after a couple of months and now not even a year to the date of the original purchase the replacement Versa 2 they sent me is doing the same thing .

I’m having similar issue with black screen only on my Versa.  I can log into Fitbit app on phone and see that it is working, fully charged, counting steps and tracking heart rate, etc., but I can’t wake the screen up.  I did the recent update and it syncs fine with device, just device screen won’t work.  I’ve tried resetting by holding all 3 buttons, left and bottom right buttons, etc., but nothing works to wake screen, even if on charger.  Any help appreciated.

Mine is doing the same thing. It did the "Updating Database" thing last week, then got really glitchy. It would vibrate and go through the settings. I tried to restart then the time was really blurry, restarted again and it was just vertical stripes then nothing. The screen is backlit, but nothing else will display. Mine is only 18 months old as well.
