Versa screen not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My fitbit app tells me my fitbit is tracking my heartbeat and sleep but the display is blank. Nothing!! Tried resetting and restarting still nothing. Has this happened to anyone else? Its past a year and out of warranty so fitbit doesnt want to claim responsibility for their poor watch design. I dont even have a single scratch on it.

Try installing a different clock face, preferably one from Fitbit.

My Versa is stuck on a screen. It will not swipe any directions, and will not power off when going through the power off procedure. It is charged, is still recording data on the Fitbit app, but the Versa will not change modes.

Followup- I spoke with tech support at Fitbit. They tried a master reset but was unsuccessful. There only recourse was to trash the Versa and purchase a new one.

I have only had my watch for 5 week. Screen not responding. It seems that this is an ongoing problem. I have done restart as suggested with no effect. Can’t reset to factory settings as screen not working Grr

lol I've already tried all they said was they could only offer me 25% off my next fitbit device. Im starting to see that this is very common in most of the fitbit device as others are having this problem.

It’s so common reading forum etc. Don’t expect it to fail within 5 weeks of buying. They are going to replace it

this happened to me yesterday and only a day after the newest update I installed.  I wonder if that has anything to do with it??

I also just updated my screen so I’m going to try the suggestion below in changing my clock face.

I changed back to a Fitbit clock. Made no difference. Hope it works for you

So yeah looks like it’s hopeless.  Says it’s the battery.  My warranty was up Dec 19,2019. Seems like it’s the new update to me and they don’t have a reason for it.  Only solution is to clean my contacts (hoping it wasn’t the charger, or master reset). I’m sorry but this was a Black Friday purchase for me and even with a 25% offer for discount that’s not going to help on a **ahem** teachers salary.
