Versa screen swiping issues

My Versa 2 ceases to work, and has got progressively worse over time. I’ve read a lot of others reporting the same issues. Screen crashes. Auto restarts. Unable to swipe to apps, settings etc. 
I have done everything that’s been asked. Restarts, resets, remove from phone and put back on. Nothing works. Honestly the most frustrating device I have ever purchased. If no fix is found will be getting a refund as I’ve only had it since February. Literally enjoyed it for a matter of a few weeks.

I'm sorry to hear about the constant restarts and screen swiping issues that your Versa 2 is experiencing. I totally understand how you feel about this.

 

In order to avoid providing the same information, please let me know what troubleshooting steps you have tried besides the restart process.

 

In the meantime, try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, monitor your watch for the next 24 hours and see if the issues get fixed.
