Versa screen unresponsive to touch

I have had my versa since June of last yearand have had no issues with it until today. I was standing at the cash register at work and went to check the time on my versa and noticed the screen was glitching between the "run" app and a few others around it. I restarted it, cleaned off the screen thinking I might have gotten something on it, and then briefly looked to see if it had improved.

It was worse.

The screen no longer responds to me touching it, and jumps around 'tapping' at random. It got stuck repeatedly in settings, and then the music, and then a variety of others. If there were menus it would toggle them off and on repeatedly until you tried to back out of everything with the button.

I turned it off and charged it hoping this might solve something.

Now that I'm checking on it again after work I can confirm that nothing has changed and my versa is rendered completely useless. I'm quite disappointed. Does anyone know how I might be able to fix this?
