Versa screen won't swipe

First noticed an issue when it stopped tracking sleep yesterday, thought I slept weird so it didn’t track. Then this morning, I saw it didn’t track again. Restarted device using buttons, now the screen won’t transition. Everything I have seen here says to shut it down going to settings on watch, but I can’t because the screen won’t move! Help

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Sassy74

Thank you for your troubleshooting efforts to reset your device in order to resolve the issue with tracking your sleep. Please confirm if these are the steps you tried to restart your watch: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If the watch still shows the same behavior after the restart, you can try a factory reset. Please note that after doing a factory reset, all apps and music installed and the data that has not synced to your account will be deleted. In order to do the factory reset, please do the following:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.

Once the Fitbit.com/setup screen appears, open the Bluetooth settings on your phone and unpair the watch from the list. Then, please set up the watch back to your account with the instructions on this link: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

If you receive an error message such as "Data not cleared, sync and try again" or a red X mark, please continue with the set up as detailed above.

You can manually log sleep to reflect the time slept by following the instructions in How do I change my sleep history?

Let me know how it goes.

Mine will not swipe.  I have rebooted and uninstalled and reinstalled and did a resync on it and still will not swipe.  How do I fix this?

Honestly, I had to get a new versa.

I had this same issue and did the factory reset (three button hold, release after logo, etc.). After setting up my Versa again, it is now stuck on the Quick Tips screen because it won’t let me tap on Start.  I tried the factory reset again and it’s still the same, no touch screen recognition at all.
