Versa setup issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I was given a Versa for my birthday 2 days ago and have tried countless times to set it up, but it’s not working.  I’ve read so many posts about how to correct this, and tried all of them but it’s just not working.

I’ve tried:

-Unpairing everything else from bluetooth

-Uninstalling & Reinstalling the app

-Placing it right next to the router to update

- Factory reset on watch

-Rebooting our home WiFi

I can’t remember what else.  Nothing works.

I told my husband last night to email the receipt to me because I’m done with it.  I wanted to return it.  Unfortunately he bought it in May, and FitBit will not accept the return because it’s greater than 45 days.

Two questions....first, am I really just stick with this expensive piece of junk that doesn’t work?

Second, there are a TON of posts about issues with setting it up.  Why is that?  Why is it SO difficult?  FitBit, I hope you’re working on resolving this.  Had I known it was going to be so difficult, I never would have asked for it.  I would have gone with the Apple Watch.

I’m so disappointed, I don’t even want to use my regular FitBit (that actually works).

Can we please have the type of device that is being used to setup the versa?

Do you get any errors messages?

How far in the setup process do you get before it bombs out?

A warm welcome to the Community @Kp2018 and @Rich_Laue thanks for stopping by.

I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this issue and would like to know if you keep having issues pairing your watch? If you do, I recommend taking a look at the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provide there.

Let me know the outcome. Smiley Happy
