Versa showing wrong time

I use my Fitbit as an alarm to get up in the morning. This morning it did not go off at the scheduled time (5:35 AM). I woke up and looked at my regular clock and it said it was 5:38 AM.  When I looked at my Fitbit the time was only 5:12 AM! Sometime when I was getting ready this morning it reset to the right time but when I'm counting on this as an alarm I can't have the time changing.  Anyone else have issues?

I would not count on this device to wake you up.

It's great to see you here @susie0711 and @GreginJaxFL thanks for the input.

I am sorry to hear about the time issue with your Versa. Have you checked that the device you use to sync your watch have the correct time? If you haven't, I recommend checking this. Also, you can restart your Versa by doing the following:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

Let me know how it goes. Robot Happy

Hello @Heather19 thanks for joining the conversation, it's great to have you on board the Fitbit Community. It's nice to see you too @Mughal, I hope you're doing well.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and reporting this to us. I would also like to thank you for letting us know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.

Please note the Versa will show the same time as your phone after you sync it. If you have synced and the watch is still not updating time, please force-quit the app and sync again. If the time is still incorrect, restart your phone and sync your Versa afterwards.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, give this a try and let us know in case you need anything else.

Thanks for your information. I can not sync on my chromebook. I use a windows 10 at my moms. She is away until June. I never had a problem syncing it until two weeks ago when I had to log in to FITBIT APP and it wouldnt sync with unpairing and repairing. Just yesterday it went down to 0% battery because when it was a 5 I plugged it into power bar which wasnt working and it went down to zero. I recharged it to 96 and it showed wrong time I looked it up on these pages and then tried the pressing of two button until I say FITBIT LOGO but that didnt work.

Could U let me know whether talking to tech support when I am ready  to sync would help?

THanks
