Versa shows Fitbit logo only

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My fitbit versa stopped working all of sudden.

Tried many tips provides on the community forum but in vein.

Problem: Screen shows only Fitbit logo. No clock face comes up.

No issue with charging.

Tried resetting Versa, and setting up the watch on phone. However, it continues showing only Fitbit logo, even after setting up Versa.

Tried unlinking it from the different Android app, re-configured again but no luck still.

P.S - I bought my watch just over a year ago.

Any help is highly appreciated!

Hi @Jaydip07, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. Since the restart procedure didn't fix this issue, please try the following steps to perform a factory reset on your device:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. When the device successfully resets, please use the normal out of the box process of updating the firmware. You can check: How do I update my Fitbit device? for more details.

Take in consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

Did the factory reset on my device, and used the normal out of the box process of updating the hardware.

However, watch is still showing white fitbit logo. No clock screen seen.

Attaching picture of the same.

Please help me out.

Could Fitbit also contact me?

When I took my watch out of the charging station the Fitbit logo disappeared and now my screen is blank.

Hi!

My watch is working again. I followed the tips. I don't think it is recommended to do a fabric reset, but I did. Then I managed to add the watch to the app and connect. It took me two days of trying. The connection seemed weak at first. Disconnected for no reason, and then it was hard to connect again. It is more stable now. So, yes! My watch is working again.

Hi there

Amazing.

Please share exactly what you did. I’m desperate for my Versa Fitbit to work. If I follow the same steps as you did then mine might get going too.

This is what I did and where I am now.
1) Held all three buttons together and then released the top right one and then the bottom right one and lastly the left one.
2) Put watch on charging station and it showed 0% in red
3) After charging for a while the blue Fitbit logo came onto the screen.
4) I wear it like that and after a while the logo disappears and the face of the watch is just black.

Thanks for your response and I am now waiting in anticipation for your feedback. I’m trusting that your watch is still working at this stage.

Kind Regards
