Can some one let me know if there are any significant differences between the sleep tracking technology of the versa lite and the versa two- as far as the heart rate monitor, motion detector, or otherwise?
I previously had a versa lite which was so accurate at tracking my sleep, but recently purchased a versa 2, which has so far had subpar sleep tracking. It has tracked sleep while the watch is off mywwrist, and over estimates the sleep I am getting by recording times I may be watching TV- not as awake time within my eventual sleep cycle- but as light sleep.
I have made sure to wear my watch on my dominant hand, I have restarted my watch several times, and I have confirmed that the sleep setting was on normal not sensitive. What more can I do? I bought by watch thru hsn, should I just request an exchange while I still can if perhaps I received a buggy device?

Hi @gbrllansln, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.
I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa 2 since it's not tracking your sleep data accurately. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data. Also, I'd like to share this help page, which explains how your Fitbit device tracks your sleep. Finally, monitor your Versa 2 and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.
