Versa special edition sensor on screen

Hi i just purchased versa special edition. Does It has a sensor on right side on the screen between the buttons. Or something wrong with the screen .

All versa’s have that.  It’s a light sensor to automatically dim the screen.

I never noticed mine until I was outside in bright light.    I don't have a special edition.   I even installed my screen protector wrong, since I can't see it in indoor lighting.
