Versa stopped getting notifications

My Versa used to notify me of calls and could read my texts. It stopped. Any ideas??

I am sorry to hear you stopped receiving notifications on your Versa. Thanks for trying to resolve this and I am here to help.

 

I recommend to swipe down from the top of the screen, and tap the quick settings icon. Make sure that Do Not Disturb and Sleep Mode settings are off.

Mine did the same thing.  I finally stumbled across the solution. 
Hols the back button for about 2 seconds and another screen appears with setting for notifications and screen wake. Turn notifications on.
