Versa stopped receiving notifications

I have a versa and Samsung note 9. I have checked both are fully uptodate with the latest software versions. Always connected and sync is selected but every morning and during the day I have to restart the versa and/or phone turn off/on bluetooth to start getting notifications again. The versa synchronises with the phone ok and I get the notifications to move just not the texts and emails etc. Thr phone and versa are always close by bit still drop the notifications regularly. Seems to be happening since the last software updates. And clues, I have even turned of do not disturb at night in case that was causing it. Anyone else having issues like this?

Thanks for the reply. I have read through the article to make sure I have not missed anything and disabled the do not disturb function on my phone to make sure that was not the issue with losing connection. It has still been dropping the notification of texts etc at random times not just in the morning. The phone and watch have been with me the whole time so is not breaking the bluetooth connection, the stats are synching ok. I have to either stop and start bluetooth, restart the phone and watch and sometimes delete the versa in bluetooth connections to get the notifications to work again. I have also bought my wife a versa 2 and samsung a70 which is having the same problem which is frustrating. Any further help is appreciated as I cannot figure if this is android issue (9) or fitbit software/firmware.

I went round and round with fitbit customer service and I was told that the notification issue is being worked on.

The generic IT answer.

The forums are blowing up with this.

Thanks, not just us having the issue then. Seems just to have been happening since the last firmware update a month ago.

I have an S9 and exactly the same problem.

I have to restart the phone at least once every day, in order to receive notifications on my Versa 2.

I am certain it is not a phone problem, because I use Bluetooth to connect to Android Auto every day, without issues.

I've tried all the troubleshooting, and the only thing that fixes the problem is a restart of the phone.

It is a HUGE pain in the arse.

I see the hot pink announcement for iPhone's and iOS 13, but NOTHING about the Samsung phones.

I am so aggravated right now.
